image015A formal Dialogue was conducted at the DAR Central Office in Quezon City with the DAR Undersecretary for Operations Narciso Nieto, PDI Director Ria M. Teves and NMGL President Amado Higante leading the dialogue (at the forefront) . The dialogue between NMGL PO leaders/PDI and the DAR centered on the pending agrarian reform cases in Zambales, Nueva Ecija and Pampanga. As a result, the DAR Regional Director Fil Inocencio, instructed the concerned provincial DAR personnel to act on the matters presented during the meeting.




image017Above photos show a dialogue with the Provincial Governor of Bataan regarding a request for assistance to the POS (PANABAT) in processing Ancestral Domain Claims of Indigenous People in different municipalities in the province. The Governor pledged to provide funds amounting to P10 Million for the undertaking in coordination with the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP).



image018Coron, Palawan: Consultation meeting was held with NCIP Regional Director to clarify matters regarding the conduct of surveys and other required activities for processing the Ancestral Domain claims of Tagbanuas in Coron, Palawan. The NCIP Director pledged his support for the titling process which is expected to be completed within the year.
